Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-13
These Terms govern your use of PnlTrack. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PnlTrack is operated by Ruokis Oy (Business ID 3551382-6, Uutiskatu 2, 00240 Helsinki, Finland) (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
PnlTrack is an online tool that imports your trading data from Interactive Brokers (read-only), calculates your realized result, fees and dividends, and prepares informational figures for Finnish tax reporting (e.g. Forms 9 and 16B). It is a bookkeeping and reporting aid only.
3. Not professional advice
PnlTrack does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment or financial advice. All figures are automated calculations based on the data you import and general rules, and may be incomplete or contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all figures and for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any tax return or other filing. We do not file, submit or transmit anything to the Finnish Tax Administration (Vero) or any other authority on your behalf. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.
4. No affiliation
PnlTrack is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or certified by Interactive Brokers, TradingView or any broker, exchange or authority. All trademarks belong to their owners.
5. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your Interactive Brokers Flex Query token confidential; you authorize us to use it to import your data on a read-only basis.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other users' data, no reverse engineering, scraping, overloading or circumventing security. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Plans, payments and cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing period and what's included are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Payments are handled by our payment partner Paddle, acting as merchant of record: your purchase is made from Paddle and is additionally subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle issues the receipt/invoice and handles VAT/sales tax. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law — contact us or Paddle. As a consumer you may have a statutory right of withdrawal; where you ask us to start a paid digital service immediately, you may lose that right once the service has been fully provided.
8. Your data
You retain ownership of your data. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service (storing and processing your data to provide features).
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but provide it “as is” and may modify, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified, and continued use means acceptance.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that calculations or tax figures are correct or suitable for your filing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or for tax penalties, interest or losses arising from your reliance on figures produced by the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Termination
You may stop using and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach. On termination you may request deletion of your data.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply. As a consumer you may bring disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
